Free Easter, Family fun at Hempstead Valley
Hempstead Valley is hosting FREE Easter events during the school holidays.
From Monday 10th until Easter Saturday 15th April, the centre will be hosting six days of Easter activities.
Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th April- Balloon modelling and puppetry
Good Friday 14th & Easter Saturday 15th April – kmfm Easter egg trails
Join in with our free Easter egg trails, run in association with the kmfm Street Team. Easter Egg trails are being held on Monday 10th & Tuesday 11th April, plus Good Friday and Easter Saturday. Find the clues around the centre and return to claim your mini Easter egg (or two)!
On Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th April children can take home a balloon model, or see Toria with her puppets. These activities will be held outside Wallis.
All workshops will run from 11am to 1pm and resume from 2pm to 4pm. There is no need to book and parental supervision is required at all times.
Please note that only restaurants in The Venue will be open on Easter Sunday. The main shopping centre and all shops will be closed on Easter Sunday.
The first week hundreds of children took part in the free Makendoo Easter art and craft workshops.
Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th April – Decorate a flower pot. This workshop involves children decorating a flower pot with pens, stickers and glitter into which they can grow their very own sunflower
Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th - Decorate and take home an Easter card
Friday 7th to Sunday 9th – Easter make and take workshops, including painting a bunny mask, chick, egg, butterfly or painting a 3D Easter egg
Children can decorate an Easter card, or a flower pot and then plant a sunflower seed. Once again children can take part in the popular art and craft workshops, including painting a bunny mask, chick, egg or butterfly using paint and glitter.
These workshops will be held outside Boots from 11am to 1pm and resume from 2pm to 4pm daily. Staff are on hand to help with all the messy stuff.
