Get into music with The Brook Under Siege: Sunday 10 February: 10am – 9pm

The Brook Theatre will be under siege from children, their families, local performers and headliner Kiss FM DJ James Hype on Sunday, 10 February. Don’t miss the ultimate music day for kids and teens.

The day will be split in to two with ‘Junior Jam’ and ‘Teen Takeover’:

-          Junior Jam is aimed at children as young as 6months through to 12 year olds and runs from 10am to 3pm. Join Play On Words and explore, learn and perform songs and dances from some of your favourite Musical Theatre Shows; The Greatest Showman, Matilda the Musical, Mary Poppins and more! Ticket are only £5 per child: Book here. There will be also be a host of FREE workshops too, such as street dance, cheerleading and storytelling, along with face painting and the chance to make an instrument. These free workshops are on a first come first serve basis.

-          Then from 3pm to 9pm, it’s Teen Takeover, which includes a range of FREE workshops for teenagers aged 13 to 17 years, including grime, DJing, drumming, spoken word and more. The evening is being headlined by no 1 platinum selling performer and Kiss FM DJ James Hype in the main theatre (tickets just £5, book here), while local bands and singers are being given the opportunity to close out the day by performing on our main stage.
