An exciting new FREE, Dino event | 29th July - 18th August

This summer our roarsome friends have a new home at Hempstead Valley!

They have taken over the centre during the school holidays until Sunday 18^th August. Get up and close with our very own Parasaurolophus, Stegosaurus, Dilophosaurus and Velociraptor and what’s more kids can see them for FREE!

Visitors can have their pictures taken with our new arrivals and there will be dino themed activities for the whole family to enjoy. Activities can be found in the area outside Boots, including dot to dot, colouring. Go on a dino hunt and answer the 5 questions, then hand in your completed form to one of three collection points (The Phone Stand, Carol's Pet Supplies or Nice not Naughty frozen yoghurt) to receive your free dinosaur mask (subject to availability, whilst stocks last).

Plus, fill out a competition form and pop it into the competition box (outside JD Sports and Boots) for your chance to win some marvellous dinosaur goodies! Thank you to Sainsbury's, Argos, M&Co, Poundland and WH Smith for donating prizes!

Go back in time and become a pre-histortic explorer and go on a dino hunt across the centre in search of clues. 

Mark Rumfitt Centre Manager said, “We’ve turned the clock back by more than 400 million years with this new dinosaur trail and are bringing something that’s fun, exciting and educational to Hempstead Valley. In the first few days of the arrival of our dinosaurs, we have seen a huge influx of families spending time together and enjoying this new event.”

So get creative and learn some interesting facts about our dinosaurs!

This all new attraction promises an experience of excitement and discovery for people of all ages to enjoy!

So why not become a dino explorer at Hempstead Valley this summer?

We will once again be fundraising for One Great Day charity, of which donations are equally split between local charity Demelza Hospice and Great Ormond Street Hospital. 

Please note this is an unsupervised event and adult supervision is required at all times.
