Exciting Developments Underway at Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre

Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre is delighted to announce a significant new development project that began in November 2024. While we are a little late in sharing this exciting news, we’re thrilled to reveal the transformative changes taking place as part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing the shopping experience for our valued visitors.

The former BHS unit is undergoing a stunning refurbishment to welcome a new tenant, marking another major milestone in the evolution of the centre. This project includes the creation of a striking modernised entrance featuring the modified artwork of our competition winner. Visitors can look forward to stylish new entrance doors, sleek dark grey canopies, and beautifully enhanced landscaping, creating a welcoming and vibrant space.

Since opening in 1978, Hempstead Valley has continually evolved to meet the needs of its customers. Over the years, we’ve seen significant developments, including the 1992 expansion with the addition of a flagship M&S store, the launch of a dedicated restaurant area in 2015, and the introduction of TK Maxx in 2016, which also brought improvements to parking and bus facilities. More recently, in 2022, we revitalised the East Mall by adding JD Gym and a Burger King Drive-Thru, further cementing our position as a premier shopping destination.

The latest investment reinforces our dedication to making Hempstead Valley a vibrant and dynamic destination for both shoppers and retailers. We are proud to offer free parking, ensuring convenience for all visitors whilst shopping, as we continue to enhance the centre and deliver an exceptional experience.
