Optical and Hearing care, beginning a rewarding career as an Optometrist or Hearing
Aid Dispenser. Our recruitment team would be keen to give you more information about
this if you are someone with the skills and passion for one of the most rewarding
industries in the UK.
What will I do as an Optical and Hearing Assistant?
This is your chance to be part of the most important aspect of our family business. You
will be the first person to greet our customers as they enter our store, setting the tone
for their visit because personalising the customer experience is intrinsic to our values.
This is something we credit as one of the reasons why we have expanded to 35 branches
since our beginning in 1928.
What really sets this role apart from any other is how integral our OHAs are across our
customer-facing duties. This includes responsibility for our pre-screening assessments,
performing retinal imaging examinations using our OCT and Optomap testing
equipment, which is part of our ongoing technical and personal development package.
We stock a wide range of frames and accessories from top brands in all of our stores,
creating bespoke consultative advice and support, catering to customers' prescription,
style, and budgetary needs. The expert insight you'll provide will be just another reason
why our customers are with us for their whole hearing and eye care journey.
